Ak Gıda, established in 1996, is one of Türkiye’s largest dairy producers, offering a wide range of products including milk, yogurt, cheese, and dairy-based beverages. The company operates several production facilities and distributes its products under various brands across domestic and export markets.

With this transaction, Groupe Lactalis, a France-based global dairy group, acquired an 80% shareholding in Ak Gıda from Yildiz Holding, a Turkish company engaged in the production of food and beverages. This acquisition was a move to strengthen its presence in Türkiye and expand its footprint in the regional dairy sector.
