Founded in 1959, Elba Bant has established itself as a prominent producer of protective films, adhesive tapes, and stretch films. The company operates a modern production facility near Istanbul, with a total closed area of 32,000 sqm, and employs approximately 240 people.

With this transaction, Mediterra Capital, a private equity firm focused on growth investments in Türkiye, acquired a majority stake in Elba Bant to support its expansion and improve operational capabilities. Following this, the EBRD invested c. EUR 10 mn for a minority stake to enhance Elba Bant’s international competitiveness and support governance improvements.
