Founded in 1993, Sanjeevani Pathology Laboratory provided pathological and diagnostic laboratory facilities in western India.
It has four labs and seven collection centres with a team of six senior pathologists including founder and promoter Kirit Patel.
This transaction was undertaken by Metropolis to establish a stronger presence in western India.
Sanjeevani is reported to be PE backed Metropolis's largest laboratory acquisition in India.
This will now be part of the 150 medical laboratories with over 1000 collection centres that IPO bound Metropolis has.
